TRENTON – The Senate Judiciary Committee will meet Thursday at 11:00 AM in Committee Room 4 to consider the nomination of Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff as State Treasurer.
Sidamon-Eristoff, of New York City, formerly served as Commissioner of the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.
The panel will also consider the nomination of Robert M. Czech, Esq., of Sea Girt, as head of the Civil Service Commission. Czech currently serves as the county administrator in Monmouth County.
The candidates will be the third and fourth nominations made by the Christie Administration to be considered by the Judiciary Committee. At its inaugural meeting, the committee interviewed and unanimously approved the nominations of Paula Dow as Attorney General and Major General Glenn Rieth as the Adjutant General of New Jersey’s Department of Military and Veterans Affairs. Both need confirmation by the full Senate.
