Senator Bryant Reacts To Swearing-In Of Governor Corzine

TRENTON – Senator Wayne R. Bryant, D-Camden and Gloucester, who serves as Chairman of the Senate Budget and Appropriations panel, released the following statement today regarding the swearing-in of New Jersey’s 54th governor, Jon Corzine:

“I look forward to working with Governor Corzine to help bring about increased fiscal responsibility for the State of New Jersey. There are a number of areas that need attention- the Transportation Trust Fund, the Schools Construction Corporation just to name two. Now is the time to try to shore up some of the State’s structural deficits and work toward creating a smooth glide path toward Governmental soundness, security and peace of mind for the people of New Jersey.”
