SENATOR DAWN MARIE ADDIEGO

8th Legislative District

An attorney, Senator Dawn Marie Addiego was a member of Evesham Township Council from 1993 to 2000 and a member of the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders from 2000 to 2008.  She was sworn in to the Assembly in January 2008 and sat on the Assembly Higher Education Committee, the Assembly Appropriations Committee and the Council on Armed Forces and Veterans’ Affairs during the 2008 – 2010 legislative session.

On December 6, 2010, Dawn Marie Addiego was sworn in as the Senator for the 8th legislative district. She has served on the Senate State Government Committee and Senate Health, Human Services and Senior Citizens. Senator Addiego currently serves on the Senate Budget and Appropriations and the Senate Labor Committee. She was also appointed to the NJ Economic and Fiscal Policy Workgroup, the Joint Legislative Task Force on Health Insurance Exchange Implementation,  New Jersey Casino Revenue Fund Advisory Board and the State House Commission.

A graduate of Villanova University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, she pursued her law degree at the Delaware Law School of Widener University, where she earned her J.D. in 1987.

Dawn Marie Addiego resides in Evesham with her husband, Dan Clark, and daughter, Morgan Maree.
