Singleton Partners with Wreaths Across America for December Community Service Event

Moorestown, NJ – In preparation for the holiday season, State Senator Troy Singleton will partner with Wreaths Across America for his December community service event. This monthly “Serve with Senator Singleton” event will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Beverly National Cemetery, 916 Bridgeboro Road, Beverly, NJ 08010.

The Senator and a group of volunteers will help Wreaths Across America lay wreaths. Anyone who is interested in volunteering can sign-up on the Senator’s website:

In addition, Wreaths Across America is in need of wreath donations for the Beverly National Cemetery. Wreaths are $15 each and can be purchased here:

“The holiday season is around the corner,” said Senator Singleton. “Before we rejoice in holiday cheer we believe it is appropriate to honor our fallen veterans. With that being said, it is fitting that we partner with Wreaths Across America for our December community service event. Whether through volunteering your time, or donating a wreath, this partnership will allow us to show our appreciation for those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.”

Wreaths Across America’s mission is to remember fallen veterans, honoring those who serve, and to teach children the value of freedom. Their mission lasts all year long, in order to show veterans and their families that they will never be forgotten.

This will be Senator Singleton’s 25th “Serve with Senator Singleton” event since becoming a State Senator in January of 2018. Previous volunteer efforts include: indoor and outdoor clean-up days, animal welfare projects, various clothing and supply drives, painting projects, and community event set-up and staffing.
