TRENTON – Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney (D-Gloucester) released the following statement on Gov. Chris Christie’s choice of Camden Superior Court Judge Lee Solomon to serve as the next president of the Board of Public Utilities (BPU):
“I’ve known Lee Solomon for more than twenty years and cannot think of a better choice to head the BPU. He simply is a hands-down outstanding pick.
“I offer my sincere congratulations to Lee on his nomination and know he will do an excellent job directing the Board.
“Governor Christie also deserves to be congratulated for adding such a tremendous individual to his Cabinet.”
