TRENTON: Senate President Steve Sweeney issued the following statement today regarding Governor Christie’s announcement about the future of NJN:
“The plan for NJN deserves further scrutiny and the public should have an opportunity to have all their questions answered. Therefore, the Senate will hold a public hearing to ensure that all the details will be flushed out and discussed in an open forum.
“In the meantime, I would hope the governor would have a plan for any NJN workers who may become a casualty of this decision. I will gladly work with the administration to formulate a plan moving forward.”
