On March 11, 2016, Senate President Steve Sweeney and Senate Education Chair M. Teresa Ruiz visited Belleville School #4 where they heard from local elected leaders, school officials, teachers, and parents about the benefits of a preschool education to children and the need for an expansion of New Jersey’s high-quality programs to additional school districts.
