EDUCATION
Mr. Gopal was born May 18, 1985, in Neptune. He is a 2007 graduate of Penn State University. The senator is a marketing and business development professional. He is the owner and operator of Direct Development L.L.C. and Community Magazine. He also created a nonprofit civic association to help groups affected by the high cost of living maintain their economic independence.
Senator Turner is serving her sixth term in the New Jersey Senate. She previously served two terms in the Assembly, in 1993 and 1995. She is also a former Mercer County Freeholder and Freeholder vice president. Senator Turner serves as the Vice Chair of both the Senate Education Committee and the Senate State Government, Wagering, Tourism and Historic preservation Committee. She is also a member of the Senate Budget and Appropriations Committee and serves on the Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect and the Commission on Business Efficiency in the Public Schools.
