TRENTON – Senator John H. Adler, the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, made this statement after the panel unanimously approved the nomination of Stuart Rabner to be the next New Jersey Attorney General.
“Stuart Rabner has what it takes to restore New Jersey’s moral bearing at a time when we’ve lost our way.
“His (Rabner’s) integrity and his resolve to follow the facts wherever they lead should be fair warning to corrupt public officials everywhere – it’s all over.
“I’m determined to give him whatever tools he needs to pursue jail time for anyone who would betray the public trust.”
The full Senate is expected to consider Rabner’s nomination on Sept. 25th.
