TRENTON – Senate Majority Leader Barbara Buono (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement on the progress of the Red Tape Review Group currently holding its third formal meeting at Montclair State University today:
“Over the past month, we’ve had the opportunity to hear how the everyday application of New Jersey’s rules and regulations has impacted our growth as a state. These meetings have certainly been enlightening. For the most part we’ve gained some valuable insight into what is clearly not working, but we’ve also received feedback on some positive rules that should be reinstated.
“Today we had the chance to dig deeper. The insight provided by local government leaders, business owners and industry representatives will hopefully serve as a solid blueprint to get our state back on the right path to spur economic growth and ease regulatory burdens.”
