TRENTON – Senate Majority Leader Bernard F. Kenny Jr. today said Zulima Farber will be “an excellent State Attorney General” who will balance her compassion with a strong sense of justice to revitalize the Department of Law & Public Safety. He made the following comments as Ms. Farber’s nomination was considered by the Senate. The confirmation vote in favor of the nomination was 25-10.

“Zulima has been a Public Advocate, a Public Defender, an assistant county prosecutor and a private practice attorney who has fought to balance the scales of justice from many different angles. Throughout her career, Zulima has always inspired those around her to do their best. She has risen to the top of her profession on many levels through hard work and diligence.”
