TRENTON – Senator Raymond Lesniak, Co-Chair of “NJ 4 Haiti,” will say a few words during Quorum on Tuesday, January 19th about the humanitarian crisis in Haiti and his effort to provide relief.
Following prayer lead by Pastor Paula Olivier, the pastor at First Seventh-day Adventist Church in Montclair, Erna Romulus will sing the Haitian National Anthem. Erna lost family and friends in the earthquake that devastated Haiti last week. She will share her story with the Senate.
Stanley Neron, Executive Director of “NJ 4 Haiti,” will also brief legislators on how they can get involved in local relief efforts.
Quorum is scheduled to begin at 10:30 in the Senate Chambers.
