TRENTON – Senator M. Teresa Ruiz (D-Essex) issued the following statement on Governor-elect Phil Murphy’s selection of Assemblywoman Marlene Caride to serve as New Jersey’s next Department of Banking and Insurance Commissioner:
“I am pleased that Governor-elect Murphy has selected Assemblywoman Marlene Caride to serve as the next Commissioner of the Department of Banking and Insurance. We welcome the diversity of the candidates Governor-elect Murphy has selected to serve in his administration. These individuals are a reflection of what makes our state great.
