TRENTON – Senate Transportation Chairman Nicholas J. Sacco, D-Hudson and Bergen, issued the following statement today regarding the announcement that Senator Bill Baroni, R-Mercer and Middlesex, would be heading to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to serve as Deputy Executive Director:

“I look forward to working with Senator Baroni in his new capacity, both as the Senate Transportation Committee Chairman, and as an elected representative of the people in Hudson County. Decisions made at the Port Authority have a very real impact on our side of the river, and I know Senator Baroni will do his best to make sure New Jersey has a voice at the table.
