The brave native sons and daughters will be the command element for a combat logistics battalion which will provide all logistics for the providence of Al Anbar in Iraq.

The Senator’s cousin, Sgt. Alfred Lesniak Jr., will be going on his third tour to Iraq and Afghanistan as a member of the 6th Motor Transport Battalion, Red Bank, NJ. On May 27, 2009, he will be leaving for Camp Lejeune, NC and then deploying to Iraq from NC in early August.

Senator Lesniak stated, “Getting into a war is easy. It’s getting out that’s tough. But that’s why you joined the Marines, to do the tough work and get the job done. God bless you all.”
