“Our ‘Serve with Senator Singleton’ days have proven to be an effective way to crowd-source volunteers to a community project in need of many hands. This month, we are excited to head to my hometown of Willingboro to help clean-up Mill Creek Park to ensure that it remains a beautiful natural treasure for residents to enjoy,” said Senator Singleton.

The 180-acre Mill Creek Park is referred to as the “Flag Ship” of the Willingboro Municipal Park System. It is the site of many local entertainment, seasonal, and sporting events, and has ample recreational opportunities.

Each month, Senator Singleton crowd-sources a team of volunteers to help with a particular community service project. This event will be the Senator’s 61st “Serve with Senator Singleton” event since becoming a State Senator in 2018. Previous volunteer efforts include: indoor and outdoor clean-up days, animal welfare projects, clothing and supply drives, painting projects, gleaning efforts, and community-event set-up and staffing. To date, more than 2,400 hours have been donated by volunteers to local community service projects.
