At a news conference in the Statehouse today, Senator Jeff Van Drew, D-Cape May and Cumberland, the chair of the Assembly Coastal New Jersey Evacuation Task Force, announced the introduction of a bipartisan package of bills to enhance the State’s emergency preparedness and update evacuation procedures in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency.
