VIDEO — Bob Gordon on His Port Authority Reform Bill

Gordon On PANYNJ

TRENTON On September 22, 2014, Senator Bob Gordon (D – Bergen-Passaic) took the floor during the Senate session to discuss his bill imposing comprehensive transparency and accountability standards at the Port Authority of New York-New Jersey. The bill (S-2181) was approved unanimously by the Senate. An identical version of the bill has also been approved by both houses of the Legislature in New York. Since the Port Authority is a bi-state agency, identical legislation must pass and be signed in both states to take effect.
