On April 26, 2016, Senate President Steve Sweeney and Senate Budget Committee Chairman Paul Sarlo joined with NJ Transit officials in a tour of the statewide Rail Operations Center and Meadows Maintenance Complex, NJ Transit’s major maintenance and service facility, to review the operations that support the Rail Operation’s entire rail fleet. The tour and briefing provided up-to-date information on NJ Transit’s capacity and operations for passenger rail in New Jersey.
