A bill sponsored by Senate Health, Human Services, and Senior Citizens Committee Chair Joseph Vitale was signed into law. The Out-of-Network Consumer Protection, Transparency, Cost Containment, and Accountability Act, will eliminate unexpected medical bills after medically necessary emergency services or inadvertent out-of-network care.
