TRENTON – Senator Raymond J. Lesniak today made the following comments on the Inauguration Day of Governor Jon S. Corzine.
“Governor Corzine has the humility and the compassion to lead this State to great heights. He will remember that his human legacy is equally as important in the long run as his political legacy and both depend on how much he can lift up our most vulnerable citizens.
“I commend his message of achieving economic growth through fiscal discipline and sound investments in education and new technologies.
“And, fortunately, I am confident that this Governor will never forget that ‘One New Jersey’ includes those who depend on soup kitchens, affordable health care and home heating assistance.”
Senator Lesniak is the Chair of the Senate Economic Growth Committee.
