In this video, New Jersey State Senator Nellie Pou, D-Passaic and Bergen, discusses her bill which would strengthen the provisions of the 2005 law outlawing human trafficking in the Garden State. Senator Pou’s bill, which was approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee, would increase penalties on the perpetrators of human trafficking and provide for better protections and social services for the victims of human trafficking.
