State Senator Nellie Pou, D-Passaic and Bergen, the prime sponsor of legislation which would increase the penalties for human trafficking and expanding the services and treatment options available to the victims of human trafficking, participated in a rally on the Statehouse steps on Human Trafficking Awareness Day, January 11, to highlight the problem in New Jersey and nationally and tell victims that they are not alone.
