After several NJ Transit Select Committee hearings, Senate President Steve Sweeney announced this week a plan to provide a dedicated source of operating revenue for NJ Transit through a constitutional amendment. Sweeney also toured the East Point Lighthouse with Senator Michael Testa in Heislerville. Lastly, Sweeney spoke at Rowan University’s ‘New Jersey Politics’ class in Glassboro.
