The special committee formed to investigate NJ Transit held its second hearing this week. A bill sponsored by Senators Joe Vitale, Joe Cryan, M. Teresa Ruiz, Nilsa Cruz-Perez and Nellie Pou that will allow driver’s licenses for undocumented immigrants passed through the Transportation Committee this week. Lastly, the Senate Commerce Committee held a public hearing on the initiative seeking voter approval to legalize adult-use marijuana in New Jersey, taking the required action in advance of the planned vote by the Senate on Monday.
