Senate President Steve Sweeney joined the Governor and Speaker Craig Coughlin in celebrating the renewal of the Rutgers Cancer Institute’s Comprehensive Cancer Center designation. The Senate Environment and Energy Committee met with the Assembly Environment and Solid Waste Committee this week to discuss climate change and the state’s response to growing environmental concerns. Senate President Steve Sweeney participated in a panel discussion at the Rutgers Eagleton Institute of Politics, where he discussed the Path to Progress recommendations.
