Senate President Steve Sweeney, Senator Bob Smith and Senator Patrick Diegnan celebrated the announcement this week that the Middlesex County Improvement Authority would be leading the efforts to build a new $50 million train station in North Brunswick. Senator Joe Lagana and Senator Sandra B. Cunningham praised the NCAA Board of Governors for voting to allow collegiate student-athletes to earn compensation for the use of their name, image or likeness. Lastly, Senate President Steve Sweeney and Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg spoke at the Regional Plan Association New Jersey Committee Meeting in New Brunswick.
