Multiple pieces of legislation sponsored by Senators Troy Singleton, Ronald Rice and Linda Greenstein, which would address concerns about water infrastructure and water quality in New Jersey, passed the Senate Urban and Community Affairs Committee this week. Acting to address one of the most challenging barriers to the successful reentry into society of former offenders, a Senate committee this week approved a series of bills focusing on the provision of medical care. Lastly, Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg held a press conference this week on the New Jersey Fair Workweek Act.
