The New Jersey Senate’s first ever remote voting session was held Monday in which they approved a series of bills in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Work First New Jersey program would be expanded under legislation approved by the Senate this week. Lastly, Senator Shirley Turner, Assemblywoman Verlina Reynolds-Jackson and Assemblyman Anthony Verrelli distributed a thousand masks to senior buildings in their district.
